@Cavalcadegames: You sure can. The only thing that will happen if and when you win is that the title screen will be changed to say, "Dictionary.com presents [game title]".

@Petevasi: As described in the rules, "You'll retain rights to resell site-locked versions of your winning game to other sites, but will require to keep the "Dictionary.com presents" tagline above your game's title." There is no splash screen/sequence to implement if you're a winner, only a tagline on the title screen. You'll be free to do whatever you'd like with the game.

The winning conditions state that you must include text stating "Dictionary.com presents" on the title screen if your game is selected as a winner. Is it also possible to have a primary sponsorship ( http://www.flashgamelicense.com/view_library.php?page=primary-sponsorships ) where there is a loading screen with a link to another portal site (and usually a "More Games" button with a link to the same site)? Or does one preclude the other?

@Dragonray: No maximum file size. Just use the same courtesy you would for any Flash game you'd create (i.e. a 30mb Flash game's a bit too large).

@Dino: The only place you must place a "dictionary.com" tagline is if you are selected as one of the winners. Otherwise, if you don't use their word list, you don't have to use their name anywhere else.

@Dino: I'd suggest posting in the forums with this question. A lot of the devs have the technical know-how to lead you through this quickly.

Anyone have a god way to implement a text file into a flash program?

Would it maybe be a good idea if mochiads hosted the word list file in a fixed location, so games could load it from there, to keep swf size down.

Also I haven't found a way to import a text file except by loading it externally, which means it would have to be hosted somewhere. I guess I can upload it to mochiads together with the swf?

So we don't even have to write their name or logo anywhere in the game itself, if we don't use their word list?
