Flash Game Friday – Qrossfire
by Alexander Shen
Holy Match-3, l’homme du chauve-souris!
This weeks Flash Game Friday winner is the game Qrossfire! I know everyone is probably gosh darned sick and tired of match-3 games, but this one has a twist. It’s not that you have to battle monsters and level a la Puzzle Quest, no. It’s how getting the match-3 to happen that makes this game strangely alluring. You slide rows or columns, like Yoshi’s Cookie, to match the three similarly colored blocks that can, hopefully, lead to explosions and other in your face action. The graphics are clean and Bomb Blitz is now my favorite time of the day.
Let’s hope we see some expansion sets like tiles that look like sandwiches.
Play: Qrossfire
Developer: Bowlerhat
