Dictionary.com Contest Reminder!
by Alexander Shen
This is just a friendly reminder that there’s just about one month left for the Dictionary.com “Word Play” Flash Game Contest! We have some fantastic entries currently on the Submissions page, but there’s always room for more!
We know that creating word games can be difficult, especially creating an engaging experience that isn’t the same as the others out there. Here are a links that may help you get jump started, such as different word lists to use as well as on going discussions in the forums about best implementing the words!

Question, how do you submit a game? I have a nice word game already in the Mochi system (although it isn’t ready to be released yet) but I don’t see any option to say ‘Enter in Word Play contest’ or anything.
Do you just look through all the distribution enabled games with ‘dictionary.com’ tagged and submit them manually? If our game meets all the requirements and is already in the system, but hasn’t shown up on the Submissions page by the contest deadline, are we able to contact someone and get that fixed, or is it game over?
@Murudai: Just follow the directions on the contest page. Make sure that it’s Leaderboard enabled, uses Version Control, is in distribution and uses the tag “dictionary.com”. The rest is automatic.
